After I long time in my life I felt and realised that world is round. Also, there is time fixed by almighty when one will bump into old friends.
A friend'is one who knows about u and still likes/loves u.
we all had Two lovely years in IPM and I feel that We were a strong & meaning ful Batch(1988)of IPM.The fest's Taught us to be competative in life.
Today,I recollect that we had good Times together. It is after 21years when I met Manju,Sanjay & Sangeeta,Devesh & I could feel even more warmth & respect for each other Than before.
I was really moved by their sweet gestures(No Show offs).
I wish them all Success in Life.
Now what next?
Can we organise a Meet In Delhi/Meerut?
Pls, suggest.
Happy Dussera & Diwali.

Good old Days...for some of us....remember and think about it

  1. When gulli-danda and kanche (marbles) were more popular than cricket ..
  2. When we always had friends to play aais-paais (I Spy),chhepan-chhepai and pitthoo anytime .
  3. When we desperately waited for 'yeh jo hai jindagi' .. When chitrahaar, vikram-baitaal, dada daadi ki kahaniyaan were so fulfilling .
  4. When there was just one tv in every five houses.
  5. When bisleris were not sold in the trains and we were worrying if papa will get back into the train in time or not when they were getting down at stations to fill up the water bottle ..
  6. When we were going to bed by 9.00pm sharp except for the 'yeh jo hai jindagi' day ..
  7. When Holis & Diwalis meant mostly hand-made pakwaans and sweets and moms seeking our help while preparing them .
  8. When Maths teachers were not worried of our mummy and papa while slapping/beating us ..
  9. When we were exchanging comics and stamps and chacha-chaudaris and billus were our heroes ...
  10. When we were in nanihaals every summer and loved flying kites and plucking and eating unripe mangoes and leechis ..
  11. When one movie every Sunday evening on television was more than asked for and 'ek do teen chaar' and 'Rajni' inspired us .
  12. When 50 paisa meant at least 10 toffees ...
  13. When left over pages of the last years notebooks were used for rough work or even fair work .
  14. When 'chelpark' and 'natraaj' were encouraged against 'reynolds and family' ..
  15. When the first rain meant getting drenched and playing in water and mud and making 'kaagaj ki kishtis' ...
  16. When there were no phones to tell friends that we will be at their homes at six in the evening .When our parents always had 15 paise blue colored 'antardesis' and 5 paise machli wale stamps at home
  17. When we remembered tens of jokes and were not finding 'ice-cream and papa' type jokes foolish enough to stop us from laughing ..
  18. When we were not seeing patakhes on Diwalis and gulaals on Holis as air and noise polluting or allergic agents ... the list can be endless ..

On the serious note I would like to summarise with .When we were using our hearts more than our brains, even forscientifically brainy activities like 'thinking' and 'deciding' . When we were crying and laughing more often, more openly and more sincerily .When we were enjoying our present more than worrying about our future .
When being emotional was not synonymous to being weak . When sharing worries and happinesses didnt mean getting vulnerable to the listener .When blacks and whites were the favourite colors instead of greys . When journeys also were important and not just the destinations . When life was a passenger's sleeper giving enough time and opportunity to enjoy the sceneries from its open and transparent glass windows instead of some superfast's second ac with its curtained, closed and dark windows ...

Hope you all enjoyed a little bit of everyone's past....

regards,

संजय

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO There

Hi Guy's and Gal's, Just trying to re-activate this site for us to communicate, share and rememeber all the good times we had।
Yesterday we had Atul at our place (he was with Raj and Manju on Monday evening), from here we went to give a surprise to our gold old Devil. I called Devil and told him that I have a friend who is interested in buying a laptop and wanted to take his help. Sangeeta, Atul and I drove to where Devesh has his office, I introduced Atul to Devesh as "Sandip Chopra from Delhi", guess what!!!! Devesh actually started selling a laptop to Atul :) Sangeeta was outside the office and could not control her laughter, anyway we finally broke the suspense and Devil was "Shocked".
It was fun and away from all the halla gulla of our daily lives। I am attaching some photo's which I have also sent across by mail to some of you।
regards,
संजय

Epilogue - This Blog is dead - Am I thinking right?

I really appreciate the efforts of Sanjay and Manju to get us together (after 20 plus years) using this Blog as the medium.

Now it seems that we have to do the Funeral of their efforts – I kindly ask all people who have not had written anything so far – to PLEASE provide the strong support of your shoulders in the last journey of this Blog.

I look forward to hearing from people who disagree with me.

Sanjay & Manju – I really appreciate your efforts – it was all of us who could not make it happen. Thanks again for your efforts.
